Description

Haass Family Farm is in Dover DE. 

Make into sausage patties, brown and crumble for pizza topping or breakfast casseroles.

Ingredients: Pork, salt, dried vinegar, black pepper, white pepper, sugar, celery and sage.
 
Breakfast Sausage Noodle Skillet
 
Ingredients
1 pound of Crabill’s pork sausage
2 tablespoons Minverva Amish butter
2 cups Local carrot, turnip or kohlrabi noodles
½ teaspoon Real salt
2 sprigs thyme
a squeeze of lemon (optional)
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 cup fresh arugula
 
For Serving: Seedy or spicy mustard
 
Instructions
1. Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat (for about 5 minutes).
2. Add the sausage by crumbling it up in to the pan. Cook, stirring often until the sausage is browned.
3. Add in butter and veggie noodles. Stir well then let it cook undisturbed for 4 minutes.
4. Scrape from the bottom of the skillet and turn the noodle and pork mixture with a large spatula and cook, undisturbed, another 4 minutes.
5. Add in salt, thyme, lemon, garlic. Stir well, and cover. Cook another 3-4 minutes.
6. Open, scrape and mix.
7. Serve and garnish with fresh arugula and mustard!
