We have had a lot of chickens in the past . While my son and his family was away, I was “chicken sitting”. I have been enjoying watching, feeding and collecting eggs. I separated out the pretty light blue eggs to incu-bate while they are gone. I have to admit I’m not a very good hen! I am using an incubator our kids had when they were young. The temperature keeps fluctuating and I want it to be stable.
There may be some really good man-made incubators, but none can compare to the design that God cre-ated. Consider for a moment a hen laying an egg each day until she has a nest of 8-12 eggs. Then she will sit on the nest full time, turning the eggs periodically. At the end of 21 days, all the chicks hatch around the same time. The simple yet incredible design of an egg points us to the Creator.
Romans 1:20, “For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without ex-cuse.”
Let our conversations always be seasoned with GRACE as we marvel at His amazing creation.
