Gerber Chicken Thighs or Drumsticks
Chicken Rub you have made, or BBQ sauce
Instructions: Preheat grill to medium-high 400 degrees
Pat chicken dry with paper towel—this makes the skin crispy
Rub the chicken with your chicken rub or just salt and pepper or put in a Zip lock bag with BBQ sauce to coat. Place drumsticks on the grill for 5 minutes.
Turn and continue grilling and turning every 5 minutes for about 30-35 minutes or until chicken has reached internal temperature of 185 degrees.
If you are using a BBQ sauce, to get a “char” , apply sauce at the 20 minute mark, flip and apply more.
“Bobby Flay’s” Dry Rub Mix
1 T cumin
1 T brown sugar
1 T chili powder
2 T kosher salt
1 T paprika
1 t cayenne pepper
1 T garlic
1 t black pepper
1 T onion powder
1 t white pepper
Mix thoroughly. Rub on meats before cooking.
