3 cups of Organic Regular Rolled Oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Real Salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup home-made Applesauce
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup organic brown sugar
2 Happy Hen eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3-3/4 cup dried cherries or CHERRIRAISINS ( you might want to chop or snip cherries into smaller pieces)
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare an 8 x 8” baking pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, mix together oats, baking powder, salt, cinnamon
In another bowl, whisk together yogurt, milk, applesauce, oil, brown sugar, eggs, and extract. Add wet ingredi-ents to dry ingredients, mix until just incorporated. Fold in dried cherries .
Pour batter into baking pan and spread evenly in pan.
Cook for 35 minutes or until golden brown on top. Cool in pan for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
